Am Markt sind eine Vielzahl an Textilfasern die in Stoffen verarbeitet werden erhältlich. In den Angaben, zum Beispiel auf dem Pflegeetikett, werden Abkürzungen für Textilfasern angegeben, die für das entsprechende Fasermaterial stehen.
